A lyceum is a gathering place for thinking people. Historically they were forums where serious conversations happened – where ideas got examined, questions got asked, and people left understanding themselves and their world a little better than when they arrived.

That is what we are building here with The Lantern Lyceums.

A lyceum is a place for serious conversation. The Lantern Lyceums are monthly sessions on time, productiveness, and the work of everyday life. Through October 2026 they streamed free on YouTube. From November, they meet live inside TimeCrafting Trust. The archive and every companion stay free.

The Last Lyceum

What would you say if this were the last time? And who would you really be saying it to? The final Lyceum on YouTube draws on two books by men who knew their time was short: Randy Pausch’s The Last Lecture and Clayton Christensen’s How Will You Measure Your Life? It’s about the gap between what your work says it’s about and who it’s really for. It’s about why the visible pays you now while what matters pays you later. And it’s about what I noticed when I asked those questions of this series.
