Inbox Zero isn’t what you think it is.
Inbox Zero is a term coined by Merlin Mann (one of the “productivity people” that I first discovered when exploring this space) that is described as intended in a talk he gave for Google. You can watch that talk here… and I encourage you to do so if you want to really know what Inbox Zero means.
I’ve led you here because I want to help you deal with your email in a more intentional and purposeful way. I want you to get as close to the purity of what Merlin meant when he first mentioned Inbox Zero years ago. I want you to go into email with missions in mind first (“This/these are the emails to I need to deal with.”) and ask questions later (“Now what are the emails that are awaiting me here?”).
That’s where Threemail comes in.
I’ve provided a PDF here for you check out that will give you the basics of the ThreeMail workflow. But I want to give you more than that as well, so I’ll be emailing you frequently on the topic of email and (more specifically) this workflow so that you can get a grip on your email and loosen the grip it has on you.

Thanks for sharing with me your desire to handle your email with more intention and purpose. I’m looking forward to helping you out with that in the months ahead.
