I received my first Father’s Day gift a little over 7 years ago. Then I received another big one just shy of two years ago.
Not a day goes by that I’m not grateful to have received those gifts. It is because of those gifts that I do what I do.
Those gifts, of course, are my daughter and son.
I strive every day to show them that you can make a living doing what you love to do, and make no apologies for that. I strive every day to make them proud of me. I strive every day to earn their love and respect.
I’m so happy to be their father, and I hope they’re happy too. (After all, I’m doing a lot of striving to achieve that!)
There’s no better gift to receive on Father’s Day than the gifts you received that made you a father.
And I received some pretty awesome gifts.
