Super Mac Team Up: David Sparks and Brett Terpstra Deliver 60 Mountain Lion Tips

Yesterday two of the greatest Mac minds unleashed the latest addition to the series of MacSparky Field Guides — and it’s a doozy. I’m talking about 60 Mountain Lion Tips by David Sparks & Brett Terpstra.

There are tips inside the virtual pages of this book that cater to Mac users of all skill levels. I’ve already adopted a few tips that I’ve never explored before — or hadn’t heard of before for that matter. The tips run the gamut of the Mac OS X landscape — from apps included with Mountain Lion to the somewhat daunting Terminal to third-party apps — and all but a few have screencasts to accompany the tips, walking you through the process as you go. These MacSparky Field Guides really demonstrates the power of Apple’s iBooks Author (as seen with David’s previous effort, Paperless).

I’m a big fan of both David and Brett, and this work further cements that. 60 Mountain Lion Tips is $7 and you can get it in the iBookstore. If you don’t have an iPad, you can always get the PDF version — but it doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles that the “iBooks Authored” edition has.
