Finding Meaning in Every Day of the Week

Every day of the week has something to offer.

Even when there are no holidays, there is always something meaningful about each day of the week. If you think about it (which I tend to do since I’m someone who writes about time — and writing is thinking), you can always find the best part of every day.

I’ll get things started:

Monday: Offers a chance for a fresh start
Tuesday: Offers a chance to do what you really wanted to do on Monday
Wednesday: Offers a chance to reset for the second half of the workweek
Thursday: Offers a chance to set yourself up for a better weekend
Friday: Offers a chance to do what you really wanted to do on Thursday
Saturday: Offers a chance to relax
Sunday: Offers a chance to do what you really wanted to do on Saturday

Those could be the meanings you find in the days of the week. Some people will go deeper on some days, less so on others. For example, a member of the TimeCrafting Trust community once shared during a Focus Fix session that Thursday is his favourite day. (Why? Because it’s the furthest away from Monday.)

However you define them, each day offers its own quiet gift — if you’re willing to look for it.
