I’ve been using Launch Center Pro like a madman since it came out. Unlike Brett Terpstra, I’ve gone a step ufrhter and created a folder that holds all of the apps that are launchable and put it on the last page of my iPhone. And despite David Barnard’s post that may have hinted at the possible future of the app, I’m hoping that the developers of other apps I use will dive in and make the app work for their apps just as much as it works for me.
Here are the apps I’d add instantly to my Launch Center Pro setup if (or once) they become available:
30/30
I’m using 30/30 more these days for time chunking, and to have it launch via Launch Center Pro would be fantastic. I’ve already asked if this is something being looked at, and apparently it is.
AwayFind
I am getting deeper and deeper into my AwayFind usage, and with the death of Sparrow and the fact I check email sparingly throughout the day, adding AwayFind to Launch Center Pro would fill a need.
Asana
My task manager for my own tasks, OmniFocus, can be used via Launch Center Pro. It’d be great if my collaborative task manager could be as well.
More Evernote functionality
Evernote can launch from Launch Center Pro, but it’d be swell if additional functionality like taking a snapshot with Evernote or creating a new note of any sort was possible. Something tells me the way that Evernote is coded that it won’t ever happen, but it’d be sweet if it could.
Checkmark
The newest kid on the block, having Checkmark work with Launch Center Pro would be another great addition to my “Productivity” group. It’d also clear some room on my Dock. (I’m not alone in wanting this, as the developers were getting asked about this before Checkmark even went live!)
